Linda Hansell is a writer and educator based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She writes in several genres—lyric essays, co-written books of memoir or autobiography, and blog posts. Her co-written books include Dancing in the Wonder for 102 Years and Memories of a Life. Her essays have been published in the Emerald Coast Review, Months to Years, and Wising Up Press.
Linda also has over thirty years of experience designing and implementing innovative educational programs that increase educational opportunities for underserved students, including an early-college high school program, a city-suburban school partnership program, a large-scale tutoring program, and an undergraduate course entitled “Tutoring in Urban Schools: Theory and Practice.”
Linda holds a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A. in Philosophy from Williams College.
